Really a nice location and suite. Loved that. Internet cost $$, buffet breakfast cost $$ and they didn't even offer free coffee. Instead Starbucks was on tap and it cost $19 for 4 coffees. However it will not keep us from returning. It is a fabulous location and a great vibe in Old Town.

This hotel is in a good location, in the entertainment district of Old-Town Scottsdale. (Which, btw, in case you think you may be lost, is not old at all). Anyway back to the hotel. The hotel itself is kinda dated. The room was kinda tired, particularly the bathroom. Clearly Marriott doesn’t consider the Marriott Banner its top notch brand. Also, the room was fairly pricey, which I expected, but when I arrived everything was an up charge. $32 to park in a completely empty lot. $25 for a destination fee. $65 for a $15 bottle of wine, plus tip of course.

It was an AMAZING experience we had at this hotel. First of all it's a beautiful hotel, the location is right in the middle of DT Scottsdale and once you walk out, you have restaurants, bars, shopping all within walking distance. We would like to thank Connie at the front desk for the UNBELIEVABLE service she provided us during our stay. She truly went above and beyond to make it a magical stay for us, thank you so much Connie. Emanuelle and Lory at the bar/restaurant were also so nice and helpful with a big smile, that sangria was to die for! They have a great gym, the pool is nice, they also provide bikes for you to use at no charge. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

Excellent and attentive staff. My reservation did not come through correctly and I was double charged. The staff worked with me and corrected. Great amenities and within walking distance of old town, 5th avenue and main street.

There's an intelligent, young man named Tyler that works front desk at this location that will give you the best check-in service in the nation. I checked-in to the hotel last week and had a wonderful conversation with Tyler about the joys of proper hospitality. This young man with an old soul couldn't have been more educated and courteous. I called in to the hotel today and was lucky enough to be greeted by Tyler on the phone. Not only did he remember me, he remembered my travel companion and was able to quickly look up our stay and satisfy my request of sending me my hotel folio for business expense. If you're in the area and value hospitality choose this hotel for outstanding service. Thanks for such a memorable experience, Tyler. - Paul

A great location for a simple stay, I was here for a week for business and while the food, the gym and the bar are pretty good, the roos are getting a little rundown, especially for the money. However, good location for walking Old Town, so overall, it's not a bad place, just needs a little love.

Great location in downtown Scottsdale. Rooms are a little tired, but clean. Heard live music from the street until late at night through the apparently thin windows. Bar was understaffed but the servers were working hard with a great attitude. Might choose a less expensive hotel next trip hoping for better rooms.
